Hello and thank you for taking the time to complete this short reference form for a beloved student. First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet Student Ministry, in partnership with MJCA, plans to take a group of students to Student Leadership University 201 in July 2024.

SLU (Student Leadership University) is a credible ministry that exists to “equip the students of today to be the Christian leaders of tomorrow.” This is not a retreat, a camp, or a mission trip. This is a top-tier leadership conference. In just four days students will be sitting in 12+ sessions led by high-impact leaders, experts, and executives covering a variety of topics: Rules and Tools of Leadership, Worldview Development, Business Leadership, Personality Assessment, Time and Goal Management, and more. We believe the SLU experience can inspire, equip, and propel students into strong ownership of their faith, the pursuit of a life of servant leadership, and an all-in commitment to be who God has created them to be for His Kingdom purposes. This opportunity to attend SLU 201 is available to any student who has already attended SLU 101, and has a desire to continue to learn and grow in leadership!

There is limited space for this trip, and we hope to take a group of students with potential and commitment. Therefore, we are asking each student interested in going to Student Leadership University to fill out an application form and obtain an adult reference form to indicate their interest and maturity. This form is DUE by March 24th. 

As an adult reference, please share your honest thoughts and observations about the student. We are proud of them for desiring to learn and grow through the SLU experience and for taking the initiative to complete these forms!
