All donated items will be going to Callen-Lorde's HOTT program. Health Outreach To Teens (HOTT) is a welcoming, non-judgmental, confidential program designed specifically to meet the medical and mental health needs of LGBTQ adolescents and young adults ages 13-24, as well as other young people in need.

Come and vibe with our Bronx community and help us keep our youth warm!

This is a safe space. No racism, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, or hate of any kind will be tolerated.

About Poetry House:

Organized in collaboration with iD Studio Theater, Poetry House is the first queer-centric poetry reading and open mic event hosted in the South Bronx by Scarlet Gomez. After experiencing several encounters of homophobia and transphobia at other Open Mic events throughout the five boroughs, Scarlet decided to carve out a space where hate of any kind would not be tolerated. Poetry House welcomes everyone, and works diligently to provide a safe and welcoming space for BIPOC and queer artists to gather and share their art.
