Things to know:
Quey's Sunflower Festival is being held August 23rd, and September 6th. Each Saturday we have vendors we will have you be open from 8:30am to 1:00pm. It is in an open field next to sunflowers and sugar beets this year. There is no electricity, shade or running water provided. You are responsible for your own shade and we require you to have your own canopy and way to secure it from the potential winds. Heat stroke is a potential danger and it is your rsesponsablitly to provide care for yourself and your employees.
Each vendor will get free entry hand stamp for themselves and their employees. Each vendor will also get one free jar to fill with sunflowers. Visitors or supporters of yours must pay the entry fee to the sunflower festival as the only entry to get to the vendors will be the main entry into the sunflower festival. *those seen climbing over the fence will be escorted out.
Setup can begin at 7:30am each Saturday. Spots will be marked for your set up and a map of the spot number assigned will be emailed out the weak of the event. If you can not back up your trailer, we will back it up for you to get it in the correct position. You may not be able to park your vehicle close to your spot, but you will be able to drive in to load / unload. Generators must be placed behind the vending area to cut down on as much noise as possible.
Cell phone service can be limited. Payment apps may need to be switched to 'offline mode'. Phones will need to be charged more frequently. Verizon works the best but even then is sometimes spotty. Please be prepared. Also, we are 15 miles away from the nearest gas station. Preparation is key to a successful day.
A non refundable deposit of $50 per day is required to be paid by June 30th, 2025 to secure your spot. We require you be set up and ready at 8:30am and do not close until 1:00pm.
Each morning at 9:30am we will request a quick round table of the vendors to go over the basics of the sunflower festival layout and address any questions so we can have as smooth a day as possible.
Employees of the Sunflower Festival will pay full price to the vendors. Should a vendor feel inclined to give a discount to Sunflower Festival employees, please speak with Trina to set that up prior to the Festival. Not in anyway required or requested.
We ask that you let us know as soon as is humanly possible if you are unable to attend any of the days or times you have signed up for.
We want this to be a lovely experience for you and all those attending the festival. We aim to do all we can to support YOU in having a huge success!! We expect each of our vendors to support each other and us by watching out for anything going wrong, helping attendees, and maintaining a positive attitude towards everyone involved. We are positive that as long as we work together you will be successful as a vendor!
