US National Team - 2025 Junior World Cup

Thank you for your interest in applying for your child to be selected to the US Junior National Team.

This year, the United States Junior National Team will compete in the FIP World Championships, to be held in Costa Daurada - Reus, Spain, from September 29th to October 5th, 2025. The opening ceremony will be held on September 28th. 

The US Junior National Team will be comprised of a Boys and a Girls Team, and each Team will be further comprised of:

• From two (2) to four (4) players for age category under 14,

• From two (2) to four (4) players for age category under 16,

• From two (2) to four (4) players for ages category under 18,

Players are eligible to participate on the US National Junior Team provided that they are citizens of the US and:

• have never represented any other country in a padel World Championship event;

• have not represented any other country in the thirty-six (36) months before the 2025 Junior World Championship event.

Moreover, their age must be included in the category they are playing into. For a player to be eligible in a category, he/she might not exceed X years old (depending on the category: under 14, under 16, under 18) in the course of the year in which the competition is held. All players competing in the 2025 Junior World Championships must be 12 years old by January 1st of this year to be eligible to play in the FIP sanctioned 2025 Junior World Championships.

Please complete this application form with as much information as possible so the USPA's Junior Development Committee and the US National Junior Team Coaches can make the best selections. If two children from the same family are applying, two applications must be completed.

To qualify for selection to the US National Team, players must have a USPA membership, a current USA passport, and have NOT played for another country in a team competition in the past thirty six months.

All applicants must be USPA members. The cost for a junior membership is $1. Players aged 13 and older can get their current membership here. 
Players age 12, the parents or caregivers and under must email the USPA to gain their membership license number, sending their passport and parents phone number. scott@padelusa.org 
The USPA will provide uniforms, hotel stay, meals and local transportation to the venues for the duration of the tournament. It is each player's responsibility to pay for all other expenses (flights, other meals, practice courts and practice balls, other transportation, visas, ...)
