Single Session Workshops
Mount Waverley Secondary College is offering single, one-on-one workshops delivered by Wellbeing and Careers staff across both campuses, with the support from RMIT Social Work Placement Students. We'd love the support of our MWSC parents in ensuring our students are aware of these sessions and how to access them.
These personalised sessions cover topics such as managing anxiety and stress, music therapy, study skills, careers pathways, transitioning to VCE, and more. They provide tailored support to meet individual needs, improve mental health and wellbeing, enhance academic skills, and boost confidence for key life transitions.

We are sending this form out to the students but would love some input from our parents as well. Please select the workshops (at most 3) that you think your child would like to engage in. Please remember that these sessions are opt in sessions and not compulsory, we encourage you to converse with your child while you complete this form.

Students who have completed the workshops have said:
  • "These workshops gave me practical tools I could apply right away. I walked out feeling clearer, more capable, and genuinely supported in my growth."
  • “This workshop helped calm me and understand how to use music to manage emotions better. As of today, I feel much more focused”
  • “It was fun and I felt SO good after this workshop because I just felt lighter”
  • "I feel more confident applying what I learned”
