To be eligible to compete for one of two $500 awards, an applicant must be:- a current CHS senior, planning to graduate in May of 2017 and- a member of one of the CHS choral groups.
The award must be used toward expenses of a music-related class, college-sanctioned extra-curricular music experience or any part of a music-related degree. This includes tuition, fees, books, equipment and supplies.
An essay is required. You can write your essay elsewhere, then copy and paste into the form. Spelling, grammar and format do matter.
For your convenience, we have repeated the essay prompt here:
Please write a short essay describing how your experience in one or more CHS choral groups has affected your plans for your college study/career. The essay should be easy to read, well organized and should clearly describe your plans for incorporating music into your future. The essay can be any length, as long as you effectively convey your answer.
Scholarship winners will be announced at the Senior Recognition Concert on May 10, 2017.
