Legacy Fight Club and Legacy Stronghold are collectively referred to as Legacy Fight Club Inc. Updated: April 2026

By registering for a membership or participating in activities at Legacy Fight Club Inc., members agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Participation in martial arts, fitness training, sparring, exercise, and related activities involves inherent risks of serious injury, including permanent disability, illness, or death.

• Voluntary Participation: Members acknowledge that the use of exercise equipment and facilities is a dangerous activity. By participating, members voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, damages (economic and non-economic), and losses of any type.

• Personal Responsibility: Members agree to be solely responsible for their own safety and well-being, as well as the safety of any guests they bring onto the premises.

• Independent Use: Members understand that Legacy Fight Club Inc. may not provide supervision, instruction, or assistance during all hours of facility use.

In consideration of the use of equipment and facilities, members expressly agree and contract on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns:

• Release: To release, discharge, and hold harmless Legacy Fight Club Inc., its insurers, owners, employees, officers, directors, and associates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, present or future, whether known or unknown.

• Negligence: This release applies to all injuries (including death) or property damage sustained on or about the premises, regardless of whether such injuries result, in whole or in part, from the negligence of the company or its agents.

• Indemnity: Members agree to indemnify Legacy Fight Club Inc. against any actions or claims made by the member or third parties arising out of the member’s use of the facilities.

• Initial Payment: Payments are processed within 1–2 business days of registration and are pro-rated until the first upcoming Friday.

• Recurring Billing: Memberships are billed bi-weekly on Fridays. If sign-up occurs on a Friday, the first payment and recurring cycle begin immediately.

• Statement Label: Charges will appear as “LFC, Barrie, ON.”

• Failed Payments: Payments may be retried up to four times. A $10 administrative fee applies if the payment remains unresolved after the fourth attempt.

• Non-Refundable: Memberships and fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Auto-Renewal: Contracts automatically renew unless cancelled according to the cancellation policy.

• Early Cancellation: Members cancelling a contract before the end date remain responsible for all remaining payments and the value of any promotional incentives received.

• Holds: Memberships may be paused for up to 8 weeks per calendar year (max 2 requests). Additional holds incur a $20 fee. Fixed-term contracts will be extended by the duration of the hold.

• Pricing: Legacy Fight Club Inc. reserves the right to adjust membership pricing periodically.

• Procedure: Members must submit the official cancellation form via the website or staff request.

• Notice Period: A minimum of 10 days’ notice before the next payment date is required. Failure to provide notice results in one additional billing cycle.

• Responsibility: Members are responsible for submitting requests; refunds are not issued for unused memberships or missed notice periods.

Members agree to comply with all rules and behave in a controlled, reasonable, and respectful manner.

• Attire: Appropriate covered footwear and a shirt must be worn at all times.

• Equipment: All weights and equipment must be returned to their proper place after use. Equipment must only be used for its intended design and purpose.

• Identification: Photo ID (Student Card or Driver’s License) must be carried and shown upon request.

• Access: Shared gym access with a non-member is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate forfeiture of membership.

• Enforcement: Legacy Staff reserves the right to rescind membership rights for non-compliance with terms, or for unsafe/disruptive behavior, without refund.

• Closures: Legacy Fight Club Inc. may close for holidays, maintenance, or emergencies. These do not entitle members to refunds.

• Lost Property: The company is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged while on the premises.

• Employment Status: Members acknowledge that use of the facility is undertaken on personal time and is not within the course or scope of any employment.

• Medical Responsibility: Members must disclose medical conditions affecting their ability to train and should consult a physician before beginning physical activity.

• Media Release: Members grant permission for Legacy Fight Club Inc. to use photographs or videos of training for marketing purposes without compensation.

• Digital Key Card: A one-time $2.50 fee applies at registration.

• Replacements: Reactivation or replacement cards incur a $4.50 fee.

By signing or electronically submitting this agreement, I acknowledge that I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and voluntarily execute this document with full knowledge of its content. I understand that typing my name electronically constitutes a legal signature.
