**NOTE the updated workshop date (May 25th) is different from the originally advertised date**

The UC San Diego Teaching + Learning Commons is pleased to offer a workshop focused on creating and refining your Diversity Statement.

Please complete this form in order to register for the workshop.

Prior to and during the workshop, you will receive guidance on what to include in a diversity statement, and during the workshop there will be significant time devoted to dedicated work time either on your own writing or receiving peer feedback on a draft. This workshop will be particularly helpful to those going on the job market soon, though all are welcome.

9-10am= What makes an effective Diversity Statement? Insights and discussion on writing the statement.
10-11am= How do I write one? Writing and/or getting feedback.
11-12pm= How do I know if it's working? Analyzing examples of statements and addressing challenges in the writing process.

The workshop will take place from 9am-12pm in the Teaching + Learning Commons, Room 1505, Geisel 1st Floor West.

We look forward to working with you!
