The SMHA Board maintains a spreadsheet with contact info for some specific team volunteer positions.
Other team volunteer positions not noted below can simply be posted on your team's website (such as Fundraising Coordinator, Team Webmaster, etc).
This form should be filled in multiple times - once for each person to add.
This will create a list for us to fill in both our internal Contact List Spreadsheet, and the Official Rosters in the Hockey Canada database.
Official Hockey Canada Rostered Positions
For Risk Management purposes ALL Coaches who set foot on the ice surface MUST be added to the official Hockey Canada Roster.
There is a $65 Membership Fee for each Coach/Manager added to the Roster. The association covers this $65 fee for the first 5 positions. The Safety Rep is a required part of your team, and is not counted in the first 5 positions. Each team U9 and up will be billed $65 by the association for the 6th and subsequent positions, and teams should budget for this accordingly.

- Trainer - Not required; Only used if needed. A certified Hockey Canada Trainer completes the in-depth Safety Course and counts as Bench Staff toward numbers for games, but is *not* certified for on-ice. Normally, we see this position used for teams that may be short on Coaches for games. Team Staff Positions
These roles are more for internal use - they are not listed on the official Hockey Canada Roster, but are important for us to have on our contact list. (i.e. The 50/50 Coordinator list needs to be maintained for our Association-level 50/50 Coordinator, Leah Blackwood).
