2020 OpenED Teacher Professional Development Survey
Year 2020 was unprecedented particularly because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. While academic institutions locked out face-2-face engagement, alternative forms of operating classes came to the rescue, and open education (OpenED) was a vital part of that. OpenED helped to create sustained engagement for many intervention programmes across the world.

However, were educators fully aware of the concept of open education? Did most teacher professional development (TPD) empower educators and model adoption of open education?

This survey seeks to learn from educators anywhere who used Open Educational Resources (OER) and/or took part in a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). The survey should take 3 minutes or less. It also crowdsources knowledge from educators for essential lessons learned and anticipations for 2021.

The survey is anonymous but contains an opportunity to add your email at the end of the survey in order to receive results of the survey.
The results of the survey will be released openly and freely using the CC-BY license.

As a thank you for completing this survey, you will receive a collection of MOOCs and OERs valuable for a teacher in a time like this.
