The Gender Expansion Project's Resource Referral Program works with individuals of transgender, transsexual, intersex and gender diverse identity to help find resources that are both close to their respective living arrangements and are of reasonable cost to the individual. We work with professionals at a large level to find resources for each individual that contacts us.
The Gender Expansion Project currently cannot provide psychological / therpaist letters of support for hormone replacement therapy, surgical interventions or similar based treatments or services at this time. In the case of hormone replacement therapy, if you have not already obtained a letter of support for HRT through your counselor, therapist, etc, or otherwise do not plan on doing such, we can attempt to locate a clinic that operates off of an informed consent model for hormone replacement therapy.
Informed consent models put the responsibility of HRT and the health and well being of the consumer in the consumers hands, through informing you, the consumer, of the inherent risks and effects of hormone replacement therapy.
