We are seeking musicians to play in the inaugural "ACS Symphony" during the Convocation Ceremony at the Clinical Congress in Boston on Sunday October 21, 2018. The orchestra will be under the direction of Ivan Shulman, MD, FACS. FACS members, residents, medical students, family, and friends are welcome to join us in this first ever event! We need your participation!
We will have one mandatory dress rehearsal at the Convention Center just prior to the event on Sunday October 21 from 3-4:45 pm. We will begin to play for the Processional at 5:30 pm with the Convocation Ceremony from 6-8 pm. Dress is not formal black tie, but jackets/ties for men, and light tops/dark pants/long skirt for women is suggested. Please bring music stands and a stand light. Parts can be downloaded from Dropbox and you will be sent a link upon sign up . Please print and bring your music as there will not be hard copies on site. Light snacks will be provided during the break. You are also welcome to join us at the reception which follows the Convocation Ceremony.
