4th and 10 from the B 45 and the coach of team A makes a last second decision to punt. Only 10 players run onto the field into a formation consisting of a punter, who is 10 yards behind the snapper, 3 blockers, who are all 5 yards behind the snapper, and 6 players on the line of scrimmage (only the snapper is numbered from 50-79). The ball is snapped before the expiration of the play clock and kicked into the endzone.
After an injury to one of their receivers, Team A’s next formation at the snap has 6 players on the line and 4 in the backfield. Team A has met the numbering requirement.
