Apply for membership in the 2024 Fleet Feet Racing Team!

The Fleet Feet Racing Team is a running club that provides training for local road races on a team training plan based around pace groups and practices held twice per week. All paces and experience levels are welcome!

The purpose of the Fleet Feet Racing Team is to create a group training environment for frequent local racers and performance-oriented runners. Team members are expected to attend practice twice per week and to hold each other accountable for showing up. Team members are expected to celebrate every achievement of fellow team members and of the team as a whole before celebrating personal achievements. FAQ
  • I'm "slow," can I still join the team/I'm a new runner, can I still join the team? All paces and experience levels are welcome! We care about vibe and commitment, not ability or experience. Current team member 5K finish times range from 16 min to 60 min. If you will show up, work hard, and support your teammates, we want you on the team!
  • Will I receive a customized training plan or individualized feedback on all of my runs? Individualized feedback is provided at practice. However, the Fleet Feet Racing Team operates as a club, not a personal coaching service. Personal Coaching is offered on a subscription basis.
  • Do I have to show up to practice? Yes, practice is where the "magic" of the Fleet Feet Racing Team takes place. The purpose of the team is to create a group training environment for frequent local racers and performance-oriented runners. Team members are expected to be welcoming and encouraging, to hold each other accountable to showing up, and to celebrate every achievement and milestone of their teammates. All that stuff happens at practice, and to be part of it, you have to show up!
  • What if I don't want to participate in any local races? The Fleet Feet Racing Team might not be a good fit for your goals.
  • What if I don't want to volunteer? The Fleet Feet Racing Team is committed to giving back to the running community through volunteering. Volunteer hours may be tracked and membership may be contingent on meeting volunteer requirements.
