Dear Parent/Guardian:
We are happy to tell you that Wyomissing Area School District has signed up to be a part of the Weekender Program. This program is offered through Helping Harvest Food Bank. If you choose to enroll your child, he/she will receive a bag full of food every Friday. Each Weekender Bag contains assorted meal options such as: cereal, pasta, skillet dinners and soup. Juice or shelf-stable milk options, as well as kid-friendly snacks are also included. The food is at no cost to your child or your child’s school.
If you choose to participate, your child will receive a bag each week from October 4 - May 23, 2025. This form must be completed by September 13th to receive the first October bag.
***Please note this program is designed to provide additional support to students who qualify for, or receive, free/reduced meals at school.***
