2021 Freehold Memorial Day Parade Volunteer Sign-Up
Thank you for volunteering for the 2021 Freehold Memorial Day Parade. In an effort to make sign-in quicker and hands-free we have digitized the process. Please complete the form, filling out all sections. When you arrive on Memorial Day morning, please check in with us at the volunteer area so that we can check off that you have arrived.

Remember, you should arrive at the corner of Brinkerhoff Avenue and Main Street (next to the big, brown, Presbyterian Church) at 7:45 am on Monday, May 31st. You will see a sign for "Volunteer Check-In" and that is where you should report. For anyone driving, many of the roads will have no-parking signs due to parade activity, so please be aware of that. Parking is available at Park Avenue School, the Market Yard (behind Federici's) or at the Monmouth County Courthouse (where the parade will end.) Additionally, the roads will close at 8:00, so make sure you are on time.

The parade ends at the Monmouth County Courthouse. Whenever you arrive there, you will place any sign you have been given in a big U-Haul truck by the water station and then you are free to leave. Your letter with you 4 hours of community service will be mailed to the school within a week of the parade. If you have a specific form that you need filled out, and a separate letter will not work, please bring that with you and Karen at the Volunteer Check-In will sign it, and you will not receive a separate letter. If a letter will work, we would prefer that, just to make check-in easier, however we will work with whatever you need.

You can email freeholdmemorialdayparade@gmail.com with any questions. If you have friends or relatives who would like to participate as well, the more the merrier! Specific club participation is not required, all are welcome. Advanced sign-up is not required, but helpful - we will not turn you away if you forgot to sign-up!

Please wear a top announcing your school (official, sport, homemade, any of the above will work) so that we can see your school spirit! Dress appropriately for the weather, to stand and walk about 2 miles, and wear a mask. We do understand that we will be outside and socially distant, however as an extension of the Freehold Memorial Day Parade Committee, we ask that you comply with this safety request.
