The British Hip Society (BHS) is delighted to be offering two bursaries of £750 to support medical students undertaking their medical school elective.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be members of the BHS in order to apply (membership is available for free to all medical students). Preference is given towards those pursuing an elective in hip surgery specifically, or includes an element of hip related research.
Key Dates:
Applications will close at 23:59 on the 30th November, 2026 with interviews held after.
Successful applicants will be required to submit a 1500 word elective report and present their experience at the BHS Annual Scientific Meeting 2028.
