The majority of the retreat will be dedicated to writing in a quiet, structured environment (alongside other scholars) with the intention of helping you make actual progress towards the completion of your seminar paper, thesis, dissertation, publication, and/or fellowship application.
Make sure to bring your current writing project, research, and/or data sets.
A limited number of one-on-one appointments will also be available to the first 15 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are one of these early registrants, you will be contacted ahead of time to schedule your writing consultation based on your preferred modality (in-person, asynchronous, or via Zoom).
Light snacks will be provided throughout the day. Lunch is *not* included.
This retreat is particularly helpful for graduate students who are behind on their project or who want to maximize their break and get ahead.
