Fall in the Field: 2017 Deer Creek Center Registration
This year, students who attend our educational programs at Deer Creek Center will explore ecosystem interdependence and systems in nature; we will cover topics ranging from geology and plant adaptations to traditional fire management strategies used by Native Americans. Students will come away with a greater understanding of ecosystem interactions and human impact on Earth systems. We are looking forward to working with you and your students this fall!

Food for Thought *
Food for Thought includes a dynamic lesson about the environmental impacts of food production and how to decrease this impact by eating local foods. The lesson ends with a burrito dinner made with all local ingredients. The added cost would be an additional $2 per person (including students, teachers and chaperones). Food for Thought provides dinner for one night. We have applied for grant funding for this program. If the grant is awarded, the $2 charge will not be billed and the program will be offered free of charge. We anticipate knowing the outcome of funding by mid May.
