Potawatomi Language Workshop
Citizen Potawatomi Nation's (CPN) Rekindling 7 Generations will have a language workshop for ages 8-15 on Wednesday and Thursday, February 22-23 at Konawa Schools from 3:30-5:30. Students will begin to learn about the foundations of the Potawatomi language and vocabulary they can use in their daily lives. Interested students and families will also be able to participate in our Language Department's Winter Storytelling Event on Wednesday, February 22 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Cultural Heritage Center in Shawnee. Please fill out this application if you are interested in participating. The deadline to sign up is February 17, 2017. All camps are Potawatomi and Native preference. Transportation will be provided based on need and location (south Pottawatomie County preference).
