Star Gazing 2017
When: 21-22 Sep. Meet at 1530 on Thursday at JROTC building. Bus leaves at 1600.

** ALL PASSING GRADES, PERMISSION FORMS TURNED IN, $20 CLASS FEE PAID, OR WAIVER COMPLETED AT DIXIE FINANCE OFFICE

Where: Bryce Canyon National Park

Return: 22 Sep 1630

Cost: bring $20 for lunch enroute there and back

Uniform: WARM civilian clothes

Overnight trip to Bryce Canyon. There will be a "Night Ranger" program followed by star gazing. Camping will be in teepees, IT WILL BE COLD, BRING WARM CLOTHES AND SLEEPING BAG,and/or blankets and pillow. (see packing list). Average temperatures in September are mid 60s during the day and high 30s to low 40s at night. It could be warmer or colder, so be prepared.

There will be a three mile hike on Friday morning. It might warm up, so shorts are OK for the hike. *** BRING A WATER BOTTLE ***
