Kol Tzedek Community Prayers for Healing
Praying for healing is an ancient Jewish practice, integrated into every personal Amidah, Torah service, and beyond. It is also a human instinct of the heart. We as a community have the capacity to lift up each other's prayers for healing. As we navigate these times, we pray for those in the Kol Tzedek community and beyond, and invite folks to include an ever widening circle of people in their prayers.
Thank you for sharing name(s) for healing. They will be read each week on Friday night following the Amidah. Should we offer a dedicated healing service in the coming weeks, we would additionally read these names there as well.
We ask that you submit names each week to ensure that we are focusing our collective prayers appropriately (the week begins on Sunday). Only names submitted that week will be read aloud.
If there are folks close to you who you're concerned about, but you're not comfortable sharing publicly on this list, you're welcome to let our clergy know.
