Cairo American College Passion Quest Project
Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time to support our students.
Passion Quest will focus on all the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations that apply to both the global world and to Egypt specifically. Each student will then choose one of the goals to focus on.
This quest will involve both a call to action through a position paper that the students are going to work on, leading to a service-learning project that the 8th graders will develop or participate in at the end.
The students will learn through the project a variety of activities to broaden their knowledge and understanding while developing their skills to research and the attitude to make a difference.
A Mentor is expected to :
1- Be available for answering students' questions about one of the goals.
2 - Share examples / real-life cases from non-government organizations or projects in the field.
3 - Demonstrate a positive attitude and acts as a positive role model.
4 - Share their ongoing passion & learning in the field.
A Panelist is expected to :
Be available on Tuesday, April 21 from 3:30 - 5:00 at Cairo American College to be part of a panel discussion- more details will be shared later about that.
