ORCA Public Nominations for 2027
The Oregon Reader's Choice Award (ORCA) committee is seeking titles for readers in grades 3-12 to read in 2025-26 and to vote on in the Spring of 2027. To nominate a title, you must be a student in Oregon or you must work in a school or library in Oregon. This nomination form will be available until December 31, 2025.

What makes a great nomination?  The ORCA Committee strives to select well-rounded lists featuring books which are of high quality and interest to their readers, and represent diversity in perspective, authorship, and content. Books can be part of a series, but ideally, it will be the first in the sequence.  Additionally,  the book must have been first published in the United States in 2024 or 2025.


You may submit as many nominations as you'd like.  Watch for the prompt to submit another response.
