Woodcliff Lake Parent Academy Presents: ANGST: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety. Film Screening and Discussion Led by Dr. Jerry Bubrick. December 5 @ 7pm. Woodcliff Lake Middle School Gymnasium
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health challenge in the U.S., affecting one-quarter of teenagers. About 80% of children and teenagers with anxiety do not get treated, and 20% will experience depression before graduating from high school. Angst explores anxiety, its causes, effects, and what we can do about it. It's time to open up a dialogue among families, school administrators, and clinical experts and to raise awareness and sensitivity to this pervasive issue.
Please join us for the film screening and discussion with moderator (and film contributor) Dr. Jerry Bubrick senior director of the Anxiety Disorders Center and director of the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Service at the Child Mind Institute in Manhattan.
Kindly RSVP By 12/5/18
