GDC Application Form

Growing our organization and movement requires earnest relationships with people. We must ask people to join DSA. We must ask them to stay involved, and we must ask them to grow! Intentional & disciplined internal organizing practices can help your chapter retain, engage, and grow your membership. Tending to our garden together is how we give rise to a socialist world.

If this is important to you, please apply to join the Growth & Development Committee. The DSA GDC oversees areas of membership growth, retention, chapter support, training and more. Read the NPC resolution on establishing the Growth and Development Committee, passed October 2019, to learn more about the GDC structure and goals. Also, read this resolution drafted by GDC members and passed at the 2021 Convention that outlines work ahead.

We are seeking individuals with leadership experience in local chapter bodies, or those who have engaged in membership development work (onboarding, 101s and 1:1s, trainings, membership drives etc.)

Please allow approximately 20-30 minutes to complete this application.
