RSVP for: Breathing Life into Ashkenazi Jewish Cuisine
When: March 9th at 7:30 PM at Temple Emanu-El
The Gefilteria is a new kind of food venture launched in 2012 with the mission of reimagining eastern European Jewish cuisine, adapting classic dishes to the values and tastes of a new generation. They're the people with the chutzpah to believe that Old World Jewish foods can be beautiful, inspiring and delicious.
Sponsored by the Men's Club & Sisterhood. Join the authors Liz Alpern and Jeffrey Yoskowitz to discuss their cookbook, The Gefilte Manifesto. The event includes wine and cheese, a slide presentation, discussion and samples of their gefilte fish. The cookbook will be available for purchase!
Cost: $18 per adult and $9 per child under the age of 12 (please bring a check or cash)
