CSFH Small Food Business Survey
High commercial rent, uneven support in seeking investment, difficulty in accessing retail markets: the challenges faced by food start-ups make it harder than it should be to succeed.

At the Cambridge Sustainable Food Hub, we want to change this. We plan to establish an incubator kitchen in the Cambridge area to support small food businesses in their growth and to encourage the development of more sustainable food businesses. This would be achieved through the provision of:

- Kitchen space and equipment at affordable rents
- Mentorship and training in areas that will enable a business to grow and legitimise and improve their sustainability

In order to provide the ideal space and training, this survey is being undertaken to see what barriers small food businesses face and what they would require from an incubator kitchen.

This survey should take no more than 10 minutes. The sections covered are:
1. Basic details
2. Your current operation
3. Challenges you face
4. Your values and aspirations
5. Use of the incubator kitchen

Your data will be used solely for research undertaken by the Cambridge Sustainable Food Hub and will not be shared with third parties.
