Nominations are invited from:1. Ministers of the Word, Deaconesses, Deacons and Pastors who are members of the Presbytery;2. Lay persons who are confirmed members of Congregations within the Presbytery. - A congregation may nominate more than one Lay person.
Closing date is Monday, February 25. Presbytery Standing Committee will review the list to ensure it conforms with Assembly regulations and Synod by-laws with respect to eligibility, total number and composition of nominations.
Synod will subsequently confirm the nominations and invite those people to register for the 34th Synod.
The cost of attending Synod is $250. This is payable by each Synod member. Presbytery will pay Synod for all our members and send you an invoice in due course. Payment to Presbytery will be able to be made online.
Accommodation is available on-site or off-site. Booking and payment is the responsibility of each Synod member.
Travel support is available for Synod members coming from south of Beenleigh or Ipswich (train or bus fare, or car mileage at 25c/km).
