I acknowledge that this is the application for LECTURE PRESENTATIONS.

Each presenter will have 20 minutes to present. This includes time for questions, so please plan accordingly. There will be small breaks every couple presentation so presenters and Symposium attendees can continue discussions at this time. There will also be time during lunch for further discussion. See the event schedule (forthcoming in August) for more information

Presenters using the projector for PowerPoint, google slides, etc should send their presentation to Katie (caitlyn@clarkemuseum.org) at least 24 hours before the Symposium so presentations can be prepped on the projector to ensure a smooth transition between presenters the day of the symposium. If you do not send in your presentation, please arrive early the day of the symposium so we can pre-load it on the computer. Bring a backup (thumb drive, etc) just in case.

We hope to photograph and videotape the events at the symposium for future advertising purposes. Your agreement to present is also an agreement to potentially appear in future advertising for the Symposium.

I understand that there is a limited number of spots for presenters and I may be put on a waitlist for a presentation spot.

To maintain consistency with Cecile Clarke's founding mandate that history be accessible to all and to support the expansion of local history access to the general public, this is an event that is open to the public. Donations are appreciated to help us continue to offer events like this. Please help us advertise the event by sharing it with your friends, colleagues, and family. Advertising materials can be found on the Clarke website (www.clarkemuseum.org) and our Facebook page in mid- August.

If you cannot present, please let us know as soon as possible.

Applications for presenting are due no later than July 31.
