Latin Sparks Festival 2025 - Ottawa Volunteer Application
Latin Sparks Festival is a not-for-profit organization that hosts Canada's largest Latin dance party! Intended to recreate the feel and flavour of Latin America, the event includes dance workshops, outdoor dance floors, DJs, performances, bars, food vendors, and thousands of dancers, cultural enthusiasts, and party-goers.

Role and Responsibilities:

Volunteers will work with the Latin Sparks Festival team to administer and manage the event. Responsibilities and tasks will include:
  • Assisting in the admission process.
  • Greeting and ushering guests to designated areas.
  • Distribution and sales of merchandise.
  • Entertainment and artist coordination.

Conditions:
  • Food and Beverages will be provided on site.
  • All volunteers will be provided a break in between their shift and given time to enjoy the festivities.
  • Latin Sparks Festival is dedicated to providing a safe and professional working environment for its staff and volunteers. While it is highly unlikely to happen, it must be noted that Latin Sparks Festival is not responsible for any injury that takes place during the event.
