Thank you for your interest in Work for Share in the North Shore region of The Food Project!

Work for Share is an opportunity to volunteer your hard work on our farms or in the classroom (only in Lynn) in exchange for fresh vegetables and the chance to learn about sustainable farming and local food production.

How to Participate in Work for Share:
- Work on our farms in Lynn OR Beverly/Wenham
- Opportunities are available during the spring and fall.
- Work ONE day per week on Tuesday OR Thursday mornings on the farm from 9am to noon(three hours); flexibility is available to work two days if you are interested
Work for Share members commit to working a regular schedule for the entire season(s) for which they are accepted. Members who work one time per week can miss one day of work each season. We cannot accept applicants who cannot commit to this schedule.

- Five weeks of fresh vegetables shares per season (Beverly/Wenham) or the equivalent in farmers market credit (Lynn)
- Community Service hours
- Farm perks as available including seedlings, honey, and compost
- Experiential learning about sustainable agriculture, food systems, and food justice

- Ages 18 and older are welcome
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to engage in physical labor for three hours at a time
- Interest in sustainable agriculture, food systems, and food justice
- Dependable, responsible, independent, and open to learning
- Experience or interest in working in a multicultural environment
- Will need to provide government issued photo ID
