Mystery Reader Sign Up
Below you will find the questionnaire to fill out to be a mystery reader in our classroom!

What is a mystery reader?
A mystery reader is someone who comes in and reads a book to our class....but there's a catch, we don't know who they are before they enter the classroom! The mystery reader must give us three clues about who they are so that we can make guesses about who they are before they come in.

Our literacy block is from 10:30am - 11:45am but we can make accommodations for other times if possible !

Some guidelines:
  • You are more than welcome to tell your student that you are coming in to read to us but please make sure your student can keep the secret! (I find that sometimes it's more fun to keep it a surprise!)
  • If you would like me to pick a book for you, please let me know and I will gladly supply a book for you.
  • Please make your clues tricky but not too hard!
  • If you need any help with any of the questions, please email me at mgilbert@conval.edu
Example Clues:
  • I am related to a boy in this class
  • I am often on the sidelines cheering on the ConVal High School Girl's Soccer team
  • Our family has two dogs that are black and brown
