Mason St Farm Weekly Food Basket
Our Weekly Food Basket runs 24 weeks starting April 19th and is based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model, where participants pay up front at the beginning of the year for a 'share' of our harvest. Each share is picked up or delivered weekly, and consists of a seasonal assortment of our vegetables and six eggs from our chickens.
There are three phases of the 24 week CSA, based off of crop availability. Early Spring, Summer, Fall.
Early spring starts off with a lite basket, offering salad greens and eggs and one or two other foods.
Summer adds in a host of new veggies and you can expect 6-8 different foods.
The fall phase is plush and you will receive the greatest diversity and volume of food.
While the basket each week will have different quantities of food based on seasonal availability, the weekly value will average out to $21.75 worth of eggs and produce over the whole season.

You have two options for receiving your weekly food box: pick up at 1015 Balmoral Rd. or delivery to your doorstep. Which would you like to sign up for?

What is your total? We prefer one installment upfront. This helps us cover the cost of start up and staffing from January to May while we have no other income. But accessibility is most important so we offer a two installment option if that is helpful.

Registration and method of payment. We prefer e-transfer but are happy to take a cheque. To complete registration please send the total for your share by April 1st 2021.

When will you get your share? We will be deciding delivery and pick up schedule once we have completed signup. Delivery will be sometime during Weekdays. Pick up will be sometime during Weekdays. For pick up, shareholders will have a 12 hr period to pick up food. We will email pick up details to all shareholders. **Please let us know if there is a day of the week that will not work for delivery or pick up.
