Django Girls Nagpur is a one-day, free workshop tailored for women who want to get involved with technology and programming. It will take place on Sunday 22nd of January in Nagpur, India. It is a part of Django Girls, a non-profit organisation(http://djangogirls.org) which gathers talented and enthusiastic women programmers from all over the world.

We hope to teach more women to being involved with technology and help bring more people together to participate with programming projects. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and actually get involved with a real life open source project :)

The application process closes on 15th December and you'll receive a confirmation of attendance by 20th January 2017.

What We Can Achieve and Learn!

How we run this training is that we match you with people (both fellow DjangoGirls and mentors) who have a similar background and experience to you. This tends to work really well!

Though in order to do this we need to ask you some questions about your background -- we really don't want this to sound like 50-questions but the better of an idea we have of where you're at before the event, the more we'll be able to do and achieve on the day!

We really like to share everything we learn during Django Girls with others, because we want to make an impact. This can be a lot of things: visit university and give a talk, organize a small meetup, teach others in your city. This is a fun thing to think about!
