EUSALP, abbreviation for "European Strategy for the Alpine Region," is a European Union strategy aimed at promoting sustainable development and cooperation in the Alpine region. Launched in 2015, this initiative aims to strengthen regional competitiveness, promote connectivity and mobility, protect the environment, and improve the quality of life for residents of the Alpine region. EUSALP brings together seven Alpine EU member countries (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, and Switzerland) as well as partner regions and civil society organizations. Program:
- Thematics: Mountain jobs, animation jobs, tourism jobs, forestry and agriculture jobs, cooking jobs, preservation and environemental jobs, entrepreneurship
- Specific focus: Multi-activity, climate change, circular economy, inhabiting, new forms of installation, innovation, local development
- Method: meeting with professionals, creative workshops, escape game, hiking, cooking sessions
Before applying, please ensure that you meet the following criteria:
- You are between 18 and 26 years old
- You are interested in mountain jobs and emerging issues
- You are curious about life in the mountains, and the opportunities for living in the Alpine Region
- You are sensitive to others and intercultural relationships
Important information:
- Living expenses covered (local transport, accommodation, catering)/ Out-of-pocket expense: travel to Grenoble
- 20 to 30 places available
- Selection based on candidate motivation
- Obligation to attend the “information meeting” online on June 13th (16:00)
or June 20th (16:00). The link will be sent after registration - Discussions will be mostly in French
- A €25 deposit is required to confirm your commitment to participating in the event
