Girl Scouts in 7, 8 & 9th grades will make a special trip during NJEA break, flying to Georgia, to learn about Juliette Gordon Low and her hometown of Savannah!
They will visit the Girl Scout First Headquarters and
Juliette Gordon Low’s Birthplace—all as they experience the beauty of Savannah
and its many other adventures.
This girl-led trip will allow participants to select their own adventures while cultivating personal leadership, practicing life-skills, expanding their comfort zones, and making new friends and memories to last a lifetime!
Hosted by the GSCSNJ Volunteer Trip and Travel Committee, and includes the supervision of 3 background checked registered Girl Scout Adult Chaperones.
This trip is for CURRENT GSCSNJ Cadettes, so that on the trip they will be in 7, 8 or 9th grades.
The group will be flying from Philadelphia to Savannah, nonstop on American Airlines.
While in Savannah, all transportation, meals, hotel lodging, entrance reservations and fees will be coordinated by PBNJ, a trusted and respected tour company serving Girl Scout visitors to Savannah for over 25 years.
Cost: $1275 inclusive. The only expected out of pocket costs will be souvenirs/snacks.
Deposit: $75 non-refundable (except if trip is cancelled) deposit due at sign up. (Need to give a place to do this). Followed by 3 - $400 payments spread out through October.
3 virtual and 3 in person meetings will be scheduled between March and November to get the group ready.
March 10th is the first meeting.
