Community Partnership School Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service & Learning Registration
In honor of Dr. King's dynamic sense of community and partnership, on Monday, January 15, CPS has suspended regularly-scheduled classes and invited students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community to a celebration of the late civil rights leader’s contribution and legacy through education and service. In order to facilitate a deeper understanding of Dr. King’s legacy CPS will be partnering with Project HOME to facilitate a speaker series surrounding MLK’s life, legacy, and impact on a national, regional, and city specific level. In addition, we will be participating preparing hygiene kits for the homeless our form of service. These kits will be distributed through Project HOME at the Stephen Klein Wellness center to the wider North Philadelphia community.
