Wünder Academy Registration 2026
This year's summer program will run from August 17th-21st from 9am-3pm

This year's theme is Community is Powerful! We will explore this theme through fun, hands on activities as well as justice workshops, story-telling and character building. Some aspects of this theme will be shelter building (think backyard bamboo forts!), food security and preparing for the future (like solar oven food dehydration), creating sanctuary, and the revolutionary acts of imagining and celebrating together. We also have two swim days during the week and plenty of classic summer fun.

We will weave in daily riddles and clues (a beloved and magical part of the Wünder Academy) while building community and our fantastical Wünder characters. Through everything, we explore UU Values - Justice, Pluralism, Interdependence, Generosity, Equity, Transformation - each of them centered in LOVE.  Looking at our UU values through the lens of magic and wonder in a multi-generational setting, we are fostering strong, resilient community and creating the kind of just and peaceful world we want to live in.

As we explore and create together, we deepen our connections to each other, to the earth, and to our community. With these strong bonds of care and support, we are changing the world.
 
The Wünder Academy welcomes all Wünderers entering 1st grade through 12th grade this fall and will consider potential Wünderers entering Kindergarten on a case-by-case basis.

Program Fees:
  • First child: $300, Second child: $250, Third child: $200, Fourth child: $100
  • 15% discount for UUCSC members
  • Scholarships available thanks to a grant from the Hurdis Fund. Please email uucscdre2@gmail.com for more info.

Once you've registered, you'll receive an invoice within a week with payment instructions. A $50 deposit is due by May 15th to hold your spot. Full payment due June 15th.  Payment plans available.

If you are registering after June 15th, we will contact you to confirm there is still space in the program. Once we confirm, your payment will secure your spot.
