Academic UIL: Academic competition of knowledge and skills.

Art Club: Come explore your love for creativity!

Athletics: Incoming 7th & 8th graders

Book Club: All grade levels are invited to increase their love of reading!

Builder's Club: Our goals for students include: developing strong moral character, working together in service, encouraging loyalty, and developing leadership.

Cheer: Incoming 7th & 8th graders

Coding Club: Students will explore & learn through stations of coding, gaming, building and more!

Dungeons & Dragons: Students create a character and work together with others to go adventuring, fight monsters, quest for loot, save innocents, solve mysteries and more! Students can also flex their creativity and leadership skills by writing their own adventures and leading players through the story they create.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes: A group where Christ in the center of our learning. Anyone is welcome and hopefully through the study of God’s word, we all can learn to live as Christ did.

Fine Arts (Band, Choir, Orchestra, Theatre)

Library Assistants: Requires an application & team teachers recommendations. Designed for students that would like to help with library duties, mostly shelving & straightening, each morning before school.

NJHS: NJHS recognizes the highest-achieving students in the school and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, demonstrate outstanding character, and provide service to our school and community.

Run Club: All grade levels are invited to share their love of running with friends. Students will develop running skills and flexibility. We will use the track and Lantana trails. Overall, we will run between two and three miles each session.

Stand Up Crew: An anti-bullying and school spirit club that is open to anyone in any grade. Students agree to treat others with respect and and take a stand against any bullying or hurtful behavior, as well as work to build a positive school environment.

Student Council: Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.

Technology Explosion: Student & technology centered competition created to promote creativity, critical thinking, friendships, & a love for tech oriented fields.

Tennis: All grade levels are invited to sign up!

WEB Leader: Incoming 8th graders can apply to be a WEB leader for our incoming 6th grade Longhorn crew! (Spring semester)

Yearbook: Incoming 7th & 8th graders are invited to apply to be a part of the HMS Yearbook staff! (Spring semester)
