This is an paid internship at $8 per hour. Interns are expected to contribute between 20 and 40 hours per week during the internship. Applicants must have at least two years of college education.
The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to assist in marketing, public relations, social media, and other promotional efforts for The Winery at Bull Run. This internship will focus on the creation of marketing content on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), including text and graphics, as well as assisting in developing marketing calendars. Other promotional efforts may include drafting press releases, blog posts, and meeting agendas, communicating with vendors, researching marketing opportunities, and interfacing with the public.
We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, creative, energetic, a team player, and eager for a hands-on experience. A unique, clever voice for crafting marketing language and/or experience with graphic design and photography are pluses. Candidates should possess familiarity and/or interest in the winery, events, or hospitality industry; have excellent writing and proof reading skills as well as a professional demeanor; and be social media savvy, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
