Applicants must be between Age 12 - 15 to apply for this role. Junior Puppet Counselors serve as a role models for younger puppeteers, assist with the art of puppet making, and help the flow of a creative space!

About this Role
Under the supervision of the Teaching Artist, Junior Puppet Counselors help facilitate the day to day needs of our various Puppet Programs - organizing materials for puppet building projects, motivating fellow puppet program students through listening and creative problem solving, assisting behind the scenes for our end-of-week Puppet Show Sharing, and pitching in wherever possible.
Vacation-week programs at Puppet Showplace Theater are a puppet building and performance training ground. As a Junior Puppet Counselor, you will develop a variety of creative leadership skills, immerse yourself in a week of puppet exploration, and learn to adapt and communicate with a range of young creators. Part 1 of the Application to be filled in by the JPC Applicant Part 2 of the Application to be filled in by the Parent or Guardian of the JPC Applicant.
