Trail and Site Stewards
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer trail or site steward!

For either program, we require you to attend a training session.

If you have any questions, please email Eno River Association's Conservation Director, Kim Livingston at kim@enoriver.org.

Trail Stewards:
Beginning in 2014, the Eno River Association, Eno River State Park, and West Point on the Eno City Park partner to invite and train trail enthusiasts to assist park staff in trail maintenance. As a trail steward volunteer, you will adopt a City or State Park trail section to visit monthly, monitor for any issues, and perform routine trail maintenance.

Site Stewards:
Modeled after the Trail Stewards program, the Site Stewards program will assign volunteers to monitor Eno River Association conservation lands on a regular basis. As a volunteer you will be trained to search for certain issues and perform light trail maintenance. We would like volunteers for the Confluence Natural Area and for a couple properties near to Penny's Bend Nature Preserve.
