YouTube Space New York has allocated Studio D and Studio B to create female-driven content with the following production resources:- customized sets, fully dressed with furniture, wall decor, etc. (Studio D or Studio B)- custom lighting design using the lighting grid - a small production crew (DP, sound recordist, 1 other of choice) for 1/2 - 2 production days at the Space*- mentorship from WhoHaha and Elizabeth Banks to review your work!

Creators greenlit for the production program will be given access to YouTube Space NY resources and dedicated sets for up to 2 full days for their production (9a-9p) from October 2 to December 15, 2017 at YouTube Space NY with a tentative release date in December 2017 - January 2018. (Additional shoots can be booked in other areas of YouTube Space NY on a first come, first serve basis).
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS- At least 50% of your video(s) created as part of this program must be shot at YouTube Space. - The content of your video must be female-driven (see definition above).- Your final video(s) must include the program branding (intro/outro video, end card, playlist links, hashtag, annotations, etc.) and should not be released until the official release date (mid-January date to be announced soon).- We will ask that participating creators do not publicize their involvement until we've announced to do so.
HOW DO WE DEFINE “FEMALE-DRIVEN CONTENT”?Videos featuring a protagonist who identifies as female or empowers women, in front of or behind the camera.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THIS PRODUCTION?All channels who are already qualified to use production resources at YouTube Space are eligible to apply: have a minimum of 10k subscribers, 0 channel strikes, and completed the “Unlock the Space” orientation.
All applicants will be notified on a rolling basis with first wave of acceptance on Wednesday, September 20 at 12:00PM ET. Please be as thorough as possible to help us better understand your creative pitch!
