Imagine Delaware: What Heroin Costs Delaware
On Dec. 4, The News Journal will host an Imagine Delaware forum on the cost of the heroin and opioid epidemic in The First State. As part of our panel discussion, which begins at 7 p.m. at John Dickinson High School, we will take questions from the audience and from Delawareans who want to know more about the issues. Please include your question for the panelists or any issues you would like addressed at the forum.

Panelists include Dr. Andrew Kolodny, of Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing and Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, Matt Denn, Delaware Attorney General, Dr. Kara Odom Walker, secretary of the state Department of Health and Social Services, Dr. Sandra Gibney, emergency room doctor and associate chairman of Emergency Services at Saint Francis Healthcare, Dr. Terry Horton, chief of addiction medicine at Christiana Care Health System, and Kim Jones, counselor at Gaudenzia in recovery from heroin and drug addiction.
