FRN Teach Share Call For Presenters
Our annual Network Winter program, held in January, will be paused in 2021. To continue to connect with our FRN members, we will hold a virtual FRN Teach Share program, via Zoom, during a three-day event on January 12-14, 2021. We will collectively share what we have learned about remote and hybrid/blended (in-person and remote) teaching and learning due to the impact of COVID-19 on higher education institutions this past spring, summer, and fall. We will discuss what worked, what challenges we faced, and the changes we are considering for spring 2021. There is no participation cost or registration fee associated with this program for our FRN community members.

We would like to invite all interested FRN faculty, instructional designers, and educational technologists to submit a proposal for a 10-minute case study presentation about their remote or hybrid/blended teaching journeys. You can choose to have an entirely oral presentation or you could also have visual aids. You can choose to discuss the arc of your course over an entire semester or concentrate on one aspect of your course (i.e. a particular project, testing, virtual student engagement, asynchronous and synchronous instructional modes, virtual active learning techniques, etc.). For examples of case studies, please watch these two videos from the Digitally Engaged Learning (DEL) conference that was held on September 25-26, 2020:

If you are interested in volunteering to participate as a speaker, please submit this form by Monday, December 7, 2020. We have extended the deadline for the call. Thank you for your time and consideration!
