Python Bootcamp Registration
Hi everyone! Diversity in Data Science is hosting a python boot camp for incoming DSC10 students with no prior coding experience. Getting started in coding has been the hardest step for a lot of our members, so we wanted to provide an opportunity to build a community with your fellow classmates, receive tips on how to approach coding & learning to code, and get a head start with some basics you’ll cover later on in DSC10.

This workshop will be held every day of Week 1 of Spring quarter, running on a weeklong syllabus. We will discuss coding approaches and begin a coding overview. The rest of the week we will cover content to familiarize students a little more with what you will be covering in class.

Please keep in mind since this is an on-campus event, you will need to register to attend and fill out the Student Symptom Screening every day you are on campus.

Please read the following location and time information:
Week 1 Day 1 through Day 5: 2-3pm @ Cross-Cultural Center (located in the second floor of Price Center)

Acknowledgement: This workshop is aimed to help students who have no prior coding experience. The curriculum and it’s pace will be set with this understanding, so it might be too slow or repetitive for anybody with prior coding experience, even if it’s in another coding language. If you have no coding experience, this is a great place to start from! *
