Fringe Review Writing 2026
Register below for the Super Power Agency's Fringe Reviewer summer school in association with The Skinny and Fest Magazine.

This is free, three day writing workshop for 14 - 17 year olds with an interest in writing about theatre, comedy, dance and music at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

Learn all about what makes a great review from the Fest Magazine team, then put those skills into practise as we go and see a selection of shows at the Fringe. Your reviews will then be published in Fest Magazine and online, plus you'll have the chance to nominate your favourites for an award at this year's Besties. 

You don't need any previous reviewing experience to take part in this summer school. 

Dates: Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th August 2026

Time: 10:30am - 4pm each day

Location: Leith and Central Edinburgh

Please note that registration does not guarantee a place. Places will be allocated by lottery and you will be notified by the Super Power Agency team to confirm your place. Places will be confirmed no later than Thursday 25th June.
