Penn Social Entrepreneurship Movement (PennSEM) is a community of entrepreneurs, thinkers, and innovators dedicated to social impact. We help students pursue their interests in the field of social entrepreneurship through discussions, hands on experience, and enriching events and immersion trips. Many of our members have founded their own impactful social enterprises and nonprofits, both on campus and internationally.

This is the application for the business incubator branch of PennSEM. We are looking for creative and dedicated students to help build an incubator for freshmen who are looking to start their social ventures. If you want to start your own venture rather than build the incubator, please only answer the last question.

Position Descriptions:
Outreach Coordinator:
Create relationships with Wharton and Penn Clubs, making sure resources on campus are being properly utilized
Plan events with guest speakers

Marketing Director (two semester position):
Advise the marketing strategy for the incubator and the individual projects
Update website, take photos, and generally direct marketing projects

Legal Advisor:
Interested in law
Research and teach legal information pertinent to start-ups

Business Advisor (two semester position):
Advice on how to create start-ups based on past experience
Help develop the incubator curriculum

Director of Finance:
Source funding for incubator participants
Find sponsorship opportunities for incubator participants

Sponsorship Director (assistant role):
Assist Director of Finance with communicating with sponsors

Communications Director:
Must be very organized
Take notes during meetings, send out emails to the committee, book gsrs, and be the main point of contact for all internal incubator communication
