Spring 2020 RD Entrepreneur Symposium Speaker Application
***Please read thoroughly before applying.*** Deadline 11/11.
The RD Entrepreneur Symposium is a multi-expert platform for nutrition entrepreneurs to build & grow their businesses. Speaker topics should meet the needs of an entrepreneur in the nutrition & dietetics profession, including private practice, virtual practice, online programming, consulting, authorship, and other "outside the box" careers in the field. Topics may also include business, tech, and marketing skills as they apply to RDs and their businesses.
*It is of utmost important that presentations provide ACTIONABLE takeaways and in-depth, useful information and should not be overly basic. Presentations should NOT be webinars that leave the viewer wishing for more - they should provide value within the session. Attendees prefer advanced, deep-dive topics, not sessions that skim the surface.
Presentations should be slide-based with pre-recorded narration, delivered in video (mp4) format. Please make sure you have the capabilities to produce a high quality presentation in this format before applying. *Actionable worksheets to complement your presentation are highly recommended.
Presentations should not be promotional.
Presentations are due December 6, 2019. For questions email:
. Symposium will take place online in March - you do not need to be "present" at the time of the event to participate as a speaker but it is preferred that you are participate in the Facebook discussion group during the symposium.
Additional submissions allowed for multiple topic proposals.
Please note due to volume of applications you will only receive a response if selected.
